You’ve bought The Sims 3 Pets and you’re having problems getting your content?

Thank you for purchasing The Sims 3 Pets Expansion pack for The Sims 3 on PC/Mac.  We know that you want to play your game as soon as possible to enjoy life with pets but are also aware that you may have had issues installing the game.    

You will have noticed that when you tried to install your game, it told you to look on the back of the manual for the install code.  Please note that the code is not located on the back of your manual, it can be found on your Limited Edition leaflet instead.  Please look for the red Pet Store leaflet in your box and install your game using this 20-digit code.  This code will both install your game and also unlock the Limited Edition content.

To actually get your Limited Edition content, after you have installed your game please register your game on www.TheSims3.com/register.  Once you have registered your game, you’ll see a link to install the items from your Purchase History page found under My Account for the Store. The pop up link will not make any mention of the Limited Edition content, but rest assured it will show up in your Purchase History page.

You do not need to take any further action to obtain your exclusive items.  Locate the item on your Purchase History page and click install**. This will launch the game and install your Limited Edition item.
