OFFICIAL EA SPORTS FIFA 14 League – Twitter Terms and Conditions
1. General
The opening time and date of the prize draw is 01st November 2013 at 00:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is 01st November 2013 at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
2. Restrictions
This prize draw is open to UK residents aged sixteen (16) and over only. Entrants under eighteen (18) will require parental/guardian consent. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Rules to participate
No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this prize draw.
The Twitter competition will be run via the EA SPORTS™ FIFA official Twitter handle https://twitter.com/EASPORTSFIFA.
Log into your Twitter account at www.twitter.com and Tweet @EASPORTSFIFA with #FPLFIFA14 for a chance to win.
The winner will be determined through a prize draw on EA’s Twitter channels. The winner will be selected at random.
Each entrant may only enter the prize draw one (1) time during the Contest Period. Submissions received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit will be void. Submissions generated by script, macro or other automated means are void.
The prize draw will be conducted by the EA SPORTS editorial team. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
4. Prize(s)
One (1) winner will receive a signed Barclays Premier League shirt from a Premier League team of their choice after the last full game week of the month. There are 20 Premier League teams to choose from. All shirts are one size only.
EA SPORTS will be responsible for providing the Barclays Premier League signed shirt of the winner’s choice.
The prize winner will receive their prize via Royal Mail Recorded delivery and the prize winner will be required to provide EA with a suitable contact name & address to send the prize to. Winners under eighteen (18) will require parental/guardian consent as a condition of receiving the prize.
There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Any taxes due on the prize will be paid by the winner.
5. Results
The winner will be contacted via Twitter by EA SPORTS once the prize draw has closed.
If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by EA, EA will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants.
Winner details will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of the winner. This list can be obtained by writing to Official EA SPORTS FIFA 14 League, Electronic Arts, Onslow House, Onslow Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4TN
If proof of age and/or parental consent is requested, and if satisfactory proof of age and/or parental consent is not received, EA reserves the rights to choose another winner.
6. General Conditions
Any entry, which does not comply with the rules, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of EA. EA is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery.
Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the prize draw in a manner, which in Promoter’s determination is contrary to these rules or by its nature is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants including without limitation tampering with the operation of the competition, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives, or who submits an illegible or incomplete entry may be rejected from the competition at Promoter’s sole discretion.
Entrants agree that their names and/or likeness may be used to announce the winner via Twitter, Premierleague.com, on EA websites and be included on the winners list as mentioned in section 5 above. Entrants may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.
7. Data protection
In order to participate in the prize draw participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. The organising entity shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information and provides for an appropriate data protection level.
Personal information includes name, address, email address and birthday.
Entrants have the right to access, withdraw, and correct their personal data. Entrants may request such action by sending a message with the request; subject line Official EA SPORTS FIFA 14 League to onslowreception@ea.com
By entering this prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these rules or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond reasonable control of Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the competition.

This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
